The designteam DELTA-MAURER-ZEDZ is cooperating since 1998. Dutch and German media have paid attention to this unique collaboration already. In the past some architecture competition entries were designed by the team, of which two are presented at this site.

Project MASTERPLAN: The MAURER office designed an urban villa in cooperation with graffiti-artist DELTA. The design was an entry for architecture competition ‘Het Wilde Wonen’, that was organized by the ‘Union of Dutch Architects’. The team developed a complete transformation of a three-dimensional graffiti-style to a higher level of spatiality. The theme of ‘wild living’ was translated to a new functional organization of the building. In combination with a style, that is based on graffiti, a new typology of the house has been developed.

Project ZEDZbeton: In cooperation with graffiti-artist ZEDZ, the MAURER office has developed a design for an urban furniture counting about 50 meters in length. The object could be placed somewhere in a metropolitan area. It is possible to walk through the object, climb or skate it or simply take a seat. The top view shows the name ZEDZ. The project was send as an entry to the German ‘Architektur-Internet-Preis’ competition, it was awarded with the second prize.
